Cancer

Sometimes in late 2012, I figured I´d put the light-table I own (which I usually use for reviewing my photo-negatives) to creative use. I used food coloring and various liquids I found within my household to create colored liquids, which I dripped onto the light table. A series of 4 high-resolutioned pictures came out of it. Mirroring some of the material in photoshop, the results look somewhat alienating, hiding their true origin and feeling immensely abstract. To me, they look like cells, or some other biological matter; thus "Cancer".
